A stakeholder is a person, group or organization that has interest or concern in an organization. Stakeholders can affect or be affected by the organization's actions, objectives and policies.

Acts7 :1-7, 8-14, Gen45:7, Ps105:16-23

Then said the high priest, Are these things so? 2And he said, Men, brethren, and fathers, hearken; The God of glory appeared unto our father Abraham, when he was in Mesopotamia, before he dwelt in Charran, 3And said unto him, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and come into the land which I shall shew thee.4 Then came he out of the land of the Chaldaeans, and dwelt in Charran: and from thence, when his father was dead, he removed him into this land, wherein ye now dwell. 5And he gave him none inheritance in it, no, not so much as to set his foot on: yet he promised that he would give it to him for a possession, and to his seed after him, when as yet he had no child. 6And God spake on this wise, That his seed should sojourn in a strange land; and that they should bring them into bondage, and entreat them evil four hundred years. 7And the nation to whom they shall be in bondage will I judge, said God: and after that shall they come forth, and serve me in this place.


Who is Joseph?

  • He was a little one (2nd to the last born) in his family
  • He was a motherless child. Gen35:18
What happened to Joseph?
  • He was shown vision of the future
  • Envied of his brothers Acts 7:8-14, Gen 37:11
  • He was sold into slavery Gen 37: 18-36
  • He was sent ahead by God. Psalm 105:16-23
  • He was framed up by his mistress Gen39:7-20
  • He was a man of integrity. Gen39:9
  • He was put in prison. Gen39:20
  • He interpreted dreams in the prison. Gen40:1-13
  • He was forgotten by the cupbearer. Gen40:23
  • Yet, he was a stakeholder in the coming of the Lord to fulfil that which He spoke concerning Abraham and the seed of Abraham.
  • Joseph received the performance of those things spoken to him and concerning him. Gen37:5-10, 41:39-49, 42:6.
Matt 22:14 - For many are called, but few are chosen.
  • Eve was called to be a stakeholder in the purpose of God but she messed up.
  • Lot’s wife was also given the privilege to be a stakeholder but the love of Sodom caused her to forfeit God’s plan.
  • Naomi was meant to be a stakeholder, but famine took her out of her land to a land that God forbids, and a Moabitess took her place.
  • The nearest kinsman in the days of Ruth was called to be a stakeholder but he chose the riches of this world than God’s own riches.
  • Saul was also given the opportunity to be a stakeholder he messed up.
  • Judas was also called to be amongst the disciples but he messed up and his bishopric was given to another.
  • Demas was also given this privilege of a stakeholder but he loved the world.
  • Sarah was also a stakeholder but impatience caused her to seek for plan b and the effect is with us till today.

Prayer:

  • In the midst of all that will come my way this 2017, Lord Jesus keep me near your Cross.
  • Be thou my vision in this year 2017.
  •  Don’t let me abandon your word in the face of adversity/breakthrough.
  • Help me to hold on till the end. Ecc7:8.
  • Don’t let my life make you a liar for you are not a man that you will lie.
  • Cause me to play my part as a stakeholder in your plan.
  • Lord enlarge my heart. Is54:1-3
