Mary of Galilee - a partner with God in Maranatha

PRAYING MARANATHA: COME, O LORD. 1Cor16:22, Rev22:7, 12.

1. I, the Lord of sea and sky,
I have heard My people cry.
All who dwell in dark and sin,
My hand will save.
I who made the stars of night,
I will make their darkness bright.
Who will bear My light to them?
Whom shall I send?

Here I am Lord, Is it I Lord?
I have heard You calling in the night.
I will go Lord, if You lead me.
I will hold Your people in my heart.

2. I, the Lord of snow and rain,
I have born my peoples pain.
I have wept for love of them, They
turn away.
I will break their hearts of stone,
Give them hearts for love alone.
I will speak My word to them,
Whom shall I send?

Here I am Lord, Is it I Lord?
I have heard You calling in the night.
I will go Lord, if You lead me.
I will hold Your people in my heart.
 
3. I, the Lord of wind and flame,
I will tend the poor and lame.
I will set a feast for them,
My hand will save
Finest bread I will provide,
Till their hearts be satisfied.
I will give My life to them,
Whom shall I send?

I have heard You calling in the night.
I will go Lord, if You lead me.
I will hold Your people in my heart.

 Again, we have been saying Maranatha is Come, O Lord or The Lord is coming. Like we saw of John the Baptist, he was an active instrument for the Lord coming, so also was Mary of Galilee. She was a young girl who was engaged to be married to Joseph. But at that time, God was seeking for the womb of a young woman to fulfil the foretold Maranatha in Is7:14.

Isaiah 7:14,Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel. Behold means see, the eyes of many are looking for the coming of the Lord into lives, nations and situations. Where are God’s Mary’s who will yet conceive His burden in this age and time?

Luke1:26-38,45 And in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent from God unto a city of Galilee, named Nazareth, 27 To a virgin espoused to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David; and the virgin's name was Mary. 28And the angel came in unto her, and said, Hail, thou that art highly favoured, the Lord is with thee: blessed art thou among women. 29 And when she saw him, she was troubled at his saying, and cast in her mind what manner of salutation this should be. 30 And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favour with God. 31 And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name JESUS. 32 He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David: 33And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end.34 Then said Mary unto the angel, How shall this be, seeing I know not a man? 35And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God. 36 And, behold, thy cousin Elisabeth, she hath also conceived a son in her old age: and this is the sixth month with her, who was called barren. 37 For with God nothing shall be impossible. 38And Mary said, Behold the handmaid of the Lord; be it unto me according to thy word. And the angel departed from her. 45 And blessed is she that believed: for there shall be a performance of those things which were told her from the Lord.

PRAYING FOR NEWLY WED/ABOUT TO GET MARRIED

  • Make this new Christian marriages or about to be married a sign for what you want to do. 
  • Let your Holy Spirit come upon these new homes.
  • Marriages under 7 years that are under attack by the enemy 
  • US election today.
  • I lend you my heart, use it O Lord for your burden, make me your burden bearer.
Acts 13: 27 - For they that dwell at Jerusalem, and their rulers, because they knew him not, nor yet the voices of the prophets which are read every sabbath day, they have fulfilled them in condemning him.
 
Ps 49:20 – Man that is in honour, and understandeth not, is like the beasts that perish.
  • Mary knew and fulfilled that which was written concerning her in view of the coming of the Lord. Lord help me to understand and fulfil the same.
